CBSE UGC NET Jan. 2017 Notification, Application Form, Apply Online - CBSE UGC NET January 2017 Notification, Application Form, Apply Online University Grant Commission is going to conduct the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET Jan 2017). This National Eligibility Test (NET) examination will be conducted on the date of 22nd January 2017. UGC NET exam is for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and colleges or Junior Research Fellowship. Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2016:

Educational Qualification :
Candidates must qualify the Master’s degree or equivalent in listed subjects scoring 55% from any state or central valid university (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).

The appearing candidates of final year are also eligible to apply for the examination.

Interested candidates must have qualified their Master’s degree within 2 years from the date of NET results.

Applicants will get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks whose master’s degree was completed by 19th September 1991.

Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Master’s only.

The candidates whose post-graduate subjects are not listed in the prescribed list can appear in the related subjects.

Age Limit:

Junior Research Fellowship: Candidates should be not more than 28 Years and 5 Years relaxation is provided to the candidates belongs to OBC/SC/ST/PWD Category.

Assistant Professor: There is No Upper Age Limit for the NET exam for Assistant Professor.

Application Fee:

The application fee detail will be mention below.

General category then you need to pay : Rs. 600/-

OBC Category then you need to pay : Rs. 300/-

SC, SC category then you need to pay : Rs. 150/-
