Educational Qualification and other eligibility criteria for RRC Level-I (Group-D) RRB Recruitment 2019

Age Limits for RRC Level-I (Group-D) RRB Recruitment 2019

Candidates age should be between 18 years to 33 years. The lower and upper age limit indicated for a particular post(s) in the vacancy table will be reckoned as on 01.07.2019.

Application Fee for RRC Level-I (Group-D) RRB Recruitment 2019

UR & OBC :  Rs. 500/-
Out of this fee of Rs. 500/-, an amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.

SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class : Rs. 250/-
This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT.

RRB Recruitment 2019 Notification RRC Level-I (Group-D) Selection Process

The RRC Group-D Selection Process has involved the three phases that are given below:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Document Verification


After the successful conduction of these over three said steps, the final selection for the recruitment will be held by the Railway Board.

  • The Exam will consist of Objective Type Questions

  • Questions will be based on the tenth class standard.

  • The exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes and for other candidates is 90 Minutes.

  • Negative marking of 1/3 is there.

Mathematics: BODMAS, Number System, Fraction, Decimal, HCF & LCM, Ratio & Proportion, Mensuration, Percentages, Time & Work, SI & CI, Profit & Loss,Time & Distance, Algebra, Geometry Statistics, Pipes & Cisterns, Trigonometry, Age & Calculation,

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Alphanumeric, Analogies, Series, Mathematical Operations, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Jumbling, Syllogism, DI & Data Sufficiency, Venn Diagram, Similarities, Decision Making & Differences, Classification, Analytical Reasoning, Directions, Statements-Arguments & Assumptions.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Male: Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 (one thousand) meters in 4 (four) minutes & 15 (fifteen) seconds in one chance.

Female: Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 400 (four hundred) meters in 3 (three) minutes & 10 (ten) seconds in one chance.
